The final of the Australian Open women’s singles tournament will be held at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne Park, Victoria. The arena was built in 1988 and was known as the National Tennis Centre but changed name in 2000 in honour of three-time winner of the Australian Open, Rod Laver.
